I have been to Darrell’s Diner on several occasions. It has basic breakfast/lunch items that were always fresh. The wait staff was fast and helpful. The coffee was always hot and tasted fresh, no burned coffee. The place was clean. It can get pretty busy at times, especially during the weekend.

Was looking forward to an enjoyable breakfast with my family, left feeling like we should have gone somewhere else. Eggs were undercooked, sent back twice, still runny so I just didn't eat them. Sausage from the picture in the menu was nothing like the hotdog I was served. The manager was rude to his staff which couldn't have been more awkward. My recommendation would be to ask the wait staff how they are being talked to by management and perhaps more closely monitor food quality.

One of my favorite places to stop by 1 in town for breakfast. Seem have gone downhill just a hair. Waiters very kind and helpful, No fault of hers she gets 5 stars.. 8 single little rubbery and sausage over fried. Will stop again. Places always clean.

If you are near one of their several north-central Florida locations, I recommend stopping by. It is a better experience than any of the national diner options. The atmosphere is pleasant, the food is good, and the menu is fairly diverse.
